Regional Tour: West

On September 25-26, 2023, seminars on "International Taxation and Environmental Issues" were held in Aktobe and Atyrau as part of the Fortune Partners regional tour of Kazakhstan.

The seminars were attended by business representatives, as well as judges from the administrative court and regional courts. During lively discussions, participants touched on topics such as evidence of transaction execution during desk audits, the Multilateral Instrument (MLI), investment jurisdiction, and environmental audits. Following the seminars, participants raised the relevance of investment jurisdiction in light of the adoption of the Code of Administrative Procedure (CAP) of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
